Return of All You Can Eat Quail Night!

Happy Spring to all of you loyal GO followers!  We certainly hope that you are enjoying this bountiful season with its abundance of fresh, local produce!  We happen to be ecstatic about spring at the GO as you have surely seen on our menus — from the soft shell crabs and pea shoots of early spring to the butter beans and local shrimp now that we are heading towards summer.  There is just so much deliciousness out there whether you are dining at the GO or shopping at your farmers market.

Also, spring brings up a promise we made to many of our fans, and we are here to make good on it!  Yes, we will feature another ALL YOU CAN EAT QUAIL NIGHT before the truly sweltering heat is upon us.  We will celebrate our whole fried South Carolina quail on Monday, May 21, from 5 to 9 p.m.  This fun filled festivity started a couple of years ago when our quail happened to be featured in Bon Appetit — click here to read Hunter Kennedy’s awesome article about the joys of dining in Charleston.

As a show of gratitude for this accolade we felt that we should throw a party for the mighty, little bird and thus ALL YOU CAN EAT QUAIL NIGHT!  Keep in mind, this is not an eating contest but rather a celebration of the quail, specifically delicious Manchester Farms quail from right up the road in the Columbia, SC.

The cost will be $30/person for our whole fried quail with two sides.  We ask that there be no sharing, and we obviously cannot offer this deal for take-out.

Of course, as all you regulars know — Monday happens to be the day we feature half priced bottles of wine, and this Monday will be no different.  Please check out our “green” wine list to see the amazing deals to be had!  Click here: WINE LIST !

You can also stay up to date with GO happenings by checking out our calendar! Just click on calendar!

Look forward to seeing y’all soon!
